本校師生日前代表學校參加由日內瓦國際青少年創新發明挑戰賽組委會主辦之「2026 日內瓦國際青少年創新發明挑戰賽」（Geneva International Youth Inventions Challenge 2026）。在蕭宇華老師及吳卓謙老師指導下，參賽隊伍在超過400作品中表現突出，中學組共摘得一項全組別冠軍、一項金獎及一項銅獎：

* 中學組「金獎及全組別冠軍」（成績名列該組別前 5%）：【F6B】陳凱軒、【F5B】陳穎軒、【F5B】吳峻熙、【F5D】林正浩、【F6B】鍾毅曦、【F5C】劉裕安

* 中學組「金獎」（成績名列該組別前 5%）：【F4E】駱俊濠、【F4E】林昊駿、【F4C】梁睿謙

* 中學組「銅獎」：【F6C】羅家駿

     本次挑戰賽，參賽者須提交作品演示影片及技術說明文檔。賽事面向全球青少年，聚焦實體原型、軟件開發及創新概念設計三大範疇，由高校學者、業界專家及工程技術人員組成的評審團，依據作品創新性、技術可行性、科研方法、社會效益及完整度進行客觀評定。

     賽事成果印證了學生在工程實作與問題解決上的綜合能力，亦體現了本校在推動科普教育與技術實踐上的常態化培養成效。

     Students from Instituto Salesiano recently represented the school in the "2026 Geneva International Youth Inventions Challenge," organized by the challenge committee. Under the guidance of Mr. Xiao Yu Hua and Mr. Ng Cheok Him, our student teams achieved outstanding results in the Secondary Division, securing the Overall Champion title along with Gold and Bronze awards:

* Secondary Division — Gold Award and Overall Champion (Top ~5% of Division): Chan Hoi Hin (F6B), Chan Weng Hin (F5B), Ng Chon Hei (F5B), Lam Cheng Hou (F5D), Chong Ngai Hei (F6B), Da Rosa Lucas Alcântara (F5C)

* Secondary Division — Gold Award (Top ~5% of Division): Lok Chon Hou (F4E), Lam Hou Chon (F4E), Leong Ioi Him (F4C)

* Secondary Division — Bronze Award: Lo Ka Chon (F6C)

     Conducted virtually, the competition required participants to submit demonstration videos and technical documentation. It engaged youth worldwide across categories including physical prototypes, software development, and innovative conceptual designs. Entries were evaluated by an expert panel of university representatives, industry professionals, and educators based on innovativeness, technical feasibility, research methodology, social impact, and overall execution.

     These achievements reflect the students' technical proficiency and the school's continuous commitment to hands-on STEM education.
